ok iv’e tried getting the runcommand.log up in nano but just get a blank page. however i did manage to copy down the error that appears on screen which is as follows

/home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/helpers.sh: line 361: “6”: syntax error operand expected (error token is “”6″”)

Panic over i sorted it . seems that a config file must have been corrupted . simply copied over my back up config files and it fixed it

I had a quick look and it seems like a no go for now at least. uae4all requires .adf rom files and the CD32 rom i tried is in .iso/.bin so its not recognised by uae4all. i also looked at a few CD32 game lists , they are short and i am almost positve that they are all A1200 releases. if you fancy playing them just make sure you get the versions for the Amiga 1200 AGA chipset. they run with upgraded sound and graphics just like CD32 versions

I used to own an A1200 back when they were on the go. they could play CD32 games by simply plugging in a CD drive. CD32 was basically a consoleised Amiga. Maybe uae4all will play them I’ve just no idea how to load them . To be honest I don’t think there’s many CD32 games if any at all, that didn’t have A1200 versions. I was playing gloom just a few days ago and it’s exactly the same as the CD32 version.

Got my NES30 pro working . Started by unpairing the controller via the es bluetooth menu and the button on the controller, then did apt-get update, apt-get upgrade and apt-get install pi-bluetooth. Rebooted and then paired the controller exactly per the wiki, got it connected and configured then shut down and turned off the system and controller. Started the system and waited unti it had fully booted in to the es ui, then turned on the controller and it connected. It also reconnects from sleep mode too.

Shoothere: I tried a fresh install got wifi working as it should but still having issues with the bluetooth . I think it’s probably more to do with my controller (NES30 Pro) than the pi3. I can get it to pair in es, I write the config file and reboot but it doesn’t connect. I then have to re pair it in es before I can go in to controller settings to configure the buttons . After that when I reboot I need to re pair again for it to work in es and games

Its my old pi2 image updated so that could be the problem i guess ?

I should also mention that if i plug in my wifi and bluetooth dongles from the pi2 everything works as it did. i tried bluetoothctl in an attempt to change the default bluetooth adapter thinking that might be the problem but again no joy.i havent done anything with the wifi yet

I’m having issues too. they both kind of work. I can get wifi to connect and use it to update and scrape but can’t use putty or samba shares. with bluetooth i can manually pair and connect my NES30 Pro but once the system is shut down or rebooted it wont reconnect and i have to manually connect again , but the pad does work in games etc. i tried reinstalling bluetooth but no joy

I got my pi3 up and running today . Psx is now running with enhanced resolution on, psp runs much better with less freezing. I’ve tried n64, still not impressed but it’s one system I only just started playing around with. Bluetooth sort of works but I have to manually reconnect my nes30pro every reboot , it works in game ok tho. Wifi connects to my network and I can update but don’t seem to be able to connect to the pi with putty or samba shares. However if I use my old dongles from pi2 it all works as before

just a heads up guys. i’ve upgraded to a new pi3 and the freezing has pretty much stopped altogether now. i get a very slight pause sometimes, just a small fraction of a second. psp performance is now much better as a whole. i can see that once overclocked it will be almost perfect, for me at least

Thanks for the info guys . When I’ve got time I’m going to try zerojay’s suggestion and set up a hdd. Iv had chance to check the read write speed of the integral card and can confirm it is pitifully slow! It barely qualifies as a class ten. I set up a new SanDisk card and there is a noticeable difference , not perfect but definitely better. I also speed tested the SanDisk and it doubles what the integral is capable of

Also having this problem myself . I’m using the 3.5 image and a class 10 integral brand sd card and get really good results but as described above every few minutes I get a pause in emulation for a few seconds. Did anyone get to the bottom of this or is it an ongoing problem ?

Iv been using a tronsmart Mars go1 pad. I was a little apprehensive at first but it’s turned out to be a really good controller . Comes with a wireless dongle and built in rechargeable battery which lasts ages . It has an xbox mode which connects flawlessly every time with the xbox driver installed. Iv used it on most of the Nintendo and sega systems also psx, amiga and pc engine with no problems.
I also have an 8bitdo nes30 pro but iv been unable to get it to work so far

Edit: nes30 pro now working. turns out I just needed to update the setup script and now it works perfectly

Forgot to mention. I’m using the 3.4 disk image on a pi2 over clocked with the pi 2 setting and memory split is at 512.

Edit: so I’ve solved my psx performance issue and got amiga working properly but still having problems with the nes30 pro pad . I followed the guide to the letter but no way can I get the pad working in emulationstation , it’s recognised in retropie setup and I’ve triple checked the manual file edit I made. On restart it connects to the system but doesn’t show up as a new pad in emulationstation
