I think it would be cool if someone made a carbon fiber splash screen to match the theme.

Awesome, you also said something about a triple boot with Retropie, Raspbian, and openelec, is that going to be like that miniemu kickstarter a couple months back?

Go to etc/emulationstation/themes. Select the folder that shares the name with theme that you are currently using, say it is the simple theme, go to the simple folder. Then go to the nes folder and open the theme.xml. under the MD_image line, change size and Max size to the coordinates the work for you. I hope that works, I can’t check right now, for I am not home. Good luck

Use win32 disk imager, select the image you downloaded on your PC. Put your sd card in computer, select that sd card in the software. With image selected and sd card in, click read instead of write. it will take the contents of the sd card and replace those of the stock image. Put the second sd card and write the copied image to your friends sd card. Hope this helped!

Overclock to the pi2 setting, and update lr-snes9x-next in the config menu.

In the winipac software on your PC, (If you don’t have it download it off of Ultimarcs website.) plug board into computer, it will show you which pins are connected to a micro switch, switch them all to the game pad function.

Use this website http://plugable.com/2014/11/06/how-to-switch-to-usb-audio-on-raspberry-pi works perfectly, and it automatically switch depending on if the adapter is plugged in on boot.

OK I updated the emulator, but now every time I turn on the pi it will ask me to reconfigure the ps3 controller and Doom 1 shareware does not work at all.

You will need the Xbox 360 wireless adapter, which good luck finding a legit one, they all seem to be Chinese knock-offs, or if you wait a bit you can get the Xbox One wireless adapter next month and wait for Linux support, or PS3 controllers with Bluetooth adapter. option 3 is the best IMO, but pick what you want. It depends on what game system you have.

You must have alot of free time, Mario RPG would be good also Chrono Trigger considering it is the 20th anniversary.

Yeah, in the theme.xml, (Path should be /etc/emulationstation/theme/theme.xml, the theme you are using is the folder you go in.) Open the theme.xml and in it change the font size to a higher value, for a 3.5 inch screen. try 0.10, (sorry never used one of those screens.) Experiment with a size that works, hope this helps
