Just wondering what peoples results were with SNES emulation on Pi 2. I just updated my project to RetroPie V3 after not playing around with it for a while and, loaded in lots more roms and I would say I would have expected slightly better performance from a Pi2.

I am noticing fairly regular audio crackling (albeit not terrible) and a few stutters in frame rate here and there. I am not using shaders, and I am not overclocking. Does the resolution output affect performance? I’ve set output to 1080p but was under the impression that was just an upscaled frame buffer or something and not affecting the native rendering performance (hope that makes sense)

Does anyone have any tips & tricks to smooth out emulation that last little bit? What SNES emulators do people use for the most part?

    Thanks

Overclock to the pi2 setting, and update lr-snes9x-next in the config menu.
