ParticipantI’m having the same issue. I’ve seen youtube videos without it. How do you disable them. I thought it was an option in the RetroArch menu but it doesn’t seem to work.

ParticipantI enabled 6 buttons from the settings menu and then recorded what the current inputs where for all the kick and punch buttons. I went to /opt/retropie/configs/megadrive/retroarch.cfg and remapped the buttons accordinly… but for some reason when I go back into the game the buttons are definitley remapped but still incorrect. I tripple and double checked what I was doing and can’t figure out where I’m going wrong =\
I was susuccessful with this approach to mapping the SNES controller but can’t figure out what’s going on here.

I’m having the same problem with a Generic Xbox Controller (Xbox 360 Fightpad).
With NES and SNES I had no problem remapping the buttons individually. I found a game I knew the buttons for and then remapped the emulator specific config as necessary.
Followed this same process using Super Super Street Fighter 2 but for the life of me they are not mapping correctly.
Config is in: /opt/retropie/configs/megadrive/retroarch.cfg

ParticipantResolved.
I got it working via the controller with input_menu_toggle_btn =”#”

ParticipantThanks, I’ll try this. Is there a way to edit these files via the UI (startx)? Seems like it’d be a lot easier than commandline.
