in reply to: Preview image project #116335Awesome!!!
If you need help to model some 3d cartridge, tapes or box, I could lend a hand ;)in reply to: Background images #115452Real life work is interfering with last systems, damn. But, well, I’ve got a job at last, so that’s nice :D
I’ll be back as soon as posible to finish the theme. There are some other things going on, like a splash video that looks(I think) pretty nice for now. Just a preview:in reply to: Background images #113956videopac v02, little retouches.
in reply to: Background images #113654By the way, what do you think about this : ¿?
in reply to: Background images #113649Well, going back to this project again after holidays!!!! I hope it will be going at a steady pace from now on!!! Roadmap, there are just a handful of systems left!! :D
– Atari Jaguar
– Saturn
– Videopac
– Virtualboy
– Wonderswan
– SegaCD
– Sega32x
– Xbox
– Videopac
– VirtualBoy
– NeoGeo Pocket
– Dragon 32
– CocoI know this is, perhaps, not the best suited theme for the raspberry because of the white screen of death and all the memory problems, but hey, I’m close to the end and I think it deserves a little more effort to get it completely done. If its useful just for one person then I’m happy ;)
in reply to: Pixel Theme #113648Tested last night, awesome work!

in reply to: Background images #112959Ports
in reply to: Retro Pixel Theme? #112427Amstrad CPC & spectrum are my bets ;)
They all look amazing, keep up the good work!!!in reply to: Split: ES enhancements, input wanted #112116I ve got two BIG and possibly compicated suggestions.
I’d líke to choose the opacity of the white bar on the system selección screen, or being capable to hide it.And the second and superdifficult would be dynamically loading the background images in system select, and game art in game selection. I dont even know if this last one is possible, but I would like to test “some” theme without having a white screen of death, hehehe!!!
These two could be at the end of your list, but please consider it!!!! :Din reply to: Background images #111851Wii
This is awesome!!! Ill try to do some testing next week. Im tempted to ask for some things, now that youre hands on the code…hehehehe…wink wink :P

in reply to: Retro Pixel Theme? #111544I like the idea a lot. Not so sure about the little pikachu, the image works fine without it!!!
Go for it!!! :D
in reply to: Background images #111512Pc engine image in slow progress, delayed because of holydays reasons… :D
in reply to: Background images #111238Herb, then the emulationstation development is frozen, or stopped “forever”? I,m not into programming anymore but I suppose that dinamically load the art(although slower sometimes) into the frontend shouldn’t be so hard. I’m going to try to convince a programmer friend of mine to make a fork and rewrite that part(depends on the time he has,but lets have hope…)
in reply to: Background images #111229Atari XE
Interesting information about the split, I didnt know. The fact is that I STILL have to test the theme on my pi. Shame on me!!! :O
This is being and interesting trip, I am learning a lot about the infinite number of computer and console system that were made in the 80s-90s.
For example, I didnt ever heard about this Atari XEMaybe you can put a crop of your background over the day/month? It sure will need fine tuning,
But if the date isnt hardcoded to be on the front layer it should work…in reply to: Background images #111189atariFalcon
in reply to: Background images #111184AtariST logo fix

in reply to: Background images #110814Okeeyyyyyy, I suppose that USA people prefer this one :D
Genesis
The image is less interesting because the megadrive logo down-righto is lost in the genesis version but… it is what it is.
In spanish we have an expression, “de perdidos al río”, it means that once you start a thing, it’s not so much effort to do something more(well, more or less).EDIT: 2nd version is a little more focused, its better for me.
in reply to: Preview image project #110810SUPER GREAT!!!!! Any hope for 8 and 16 bit computers???…. :D
