Thnk you so much Smithers. Got mine all working with some snes roms, wireless Ps3 Controller and Kodi is working fine (kodi with logitech k400 keyboard).

For anyone else that may want to try, I prefer the xunity helix skin, make sure you go to dave’s game menu first from aeon and add retrogames to the favorites menu first, then change the skin and when you want to flip back and forth, on kodi, go to favs on home screen and go from there.

totally new to retropie though, what does the “gameslist” file do or required for? I just added roms through winscp remotely and they work fine for now. Is it for game covers or something?

    Edit: two more quick questions..
1- Anyone know where I can find the “es_input.cfg” file? I found it on the first version of this thread, but no more. Keep having my ps3 remote ask for button config whenever i reboot. :(

2- unrelated to number 1 above. Wondering if I need to configure controller as retroarch? Is retroarch used for mame/arcade games? ie. I loaded a mame game and no ps3 controller for mame games. Is this why one would config controller as retro arch? sorry hope these arent dumb questions.

I wish I could be of help Smithers re: the sd expansion :(. I also googled a ton.

Kamovsky….just use the link that smithers provided. If you cannot DL from this link, then you’re going to have a bunch of problems setting all this RP2 stuff up. (Sorry I dont meant to sound rude there, but you know)

Smithers, don’t give up on us yet lol. If I could send you a donation or buy you a beer in Canada, I would. Your hard work is SOOO much appreciated and it’s only a matter of a short time until everyone stumbles upon this and makes you everyone’s hero. ;) Thanks again.

Thanks a lot for this smithers. I’ll be attempting this install in a little bit. Quick question, does anyone foresee any issues with me using a wireless usb keyboard (logitech k400) with this for kodi, and in conjunction with a ps3 controller via bluetooth dongle for use with retropie?

arrgh – been trying to set this up but running into some issues that others have reported. Also everytime I hit F4 at the ES controller config menu, it brings me to the terminal for a second, then keeps looping back to the ES controller config menu.

I set up the kepboard, but unable to expand filesystem and mentioned above (noobs error etc), then back at the setup menu, i lose my keyboard config and have to go through the mapping process again.

no the upload most likely wont be any faster to torrent. Probably faster to download, but not the reverse since your upload speeds are crappy. My upload is the same. blows.

Probably best just to let it keep uploading to mega as is. :)
