    I bought a cheap HDMI to VGA adapter (Camac brand) on ebay and it worked perfectly with no setup at all

    if you cant get yours working, I can vouch for this brand adapter on ebay

    right after loading a rom if you press X on your keyboard or I think you can hold down any key on your keyboard, it will bring up a menu that you can select what resolution you want to run that rom in. You could do this for each game.

    how do I edit this file? with the pi connected to my network I can find this file with my windows laptop but opening it with notepad is a mess. Sorry for the stupid questions but what is the best way to open this to make changes?

    right now I am only using a wireless keyboard. I will be using a ipac4 from ultimarc and will only have arcade controls connected. So the way to exit game is to hold select and esc at the same time? is there anyway to change it to only pressing ESC to exit?

    the ipac uses standard mame shortcut by pressing P1 Start and P2 start at the same time is like pressing ESC

    mame4all works like this as default, only problem is a few roms play much better with mame2003

    its working perfect for me now using lr-mame2003. Only problem is I can’t figure out how to exit game in that emulator. ESC doesn’t work like it does in mame4all. I’m not sure if mame2003 will work well with the ipac4 I will be using

    Thanks for the tips guys and great video. I deleted the folders from inside the Roms folder and it worked great. Thanks so much, it’s much cleaner now.
