So most of my NeoGeo Roms will not work on my retropie. I looked and they are all zip files and everything looks right. Breakers is one of the few that do work, the rest say “rom not supported” and kick me back to the menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You’re either using the wrong version of the roms, or the wrong emulator.

to find out which roms or emulator you should be using:
    https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/FinalBurn-Alpha

    Here’s how to fix it:
    https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs

This is an extremely common problem, a little search would have found many many threads on the topic.

Once you get this fixed, Capcom CPS 1 and 2 roms will work unmodified in the PiFBA emulator. I assume you hadn’t discovered yet, given this issue. ;P

Do you have the neogeo.zip BIOS placed in either the FBA or NEOGEO rom folders?

I did put the neogeo.zip in the NeoGeo rom folders, but not the FBA folder, I will try that.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I was too lazy to search, my bad. I will try to get them working now.

Are you using RetroPie 2.6 or 3.0?
I use gngeo as the NeoGeo emulator, but there are other options as mentioned above.

You can see the romsets needed for each here:
