I just got accidentally thru wang guard *heyyyyy* so here we go:

I started using retropie a week ago (AND IT’S AWESOME), and i’m a COMPLETE linux noob, but nearly all of the issues i’ve encountered were answered here already in the forum!!!

    All but ONE:

I’m using a wired 360 controller and it works like a charm, but those 4 leds just won’t stop blinking! I know, it’s a mere cosmetic issue, but can i make this stop (or even better, light up led 1 only).

This thread may help you: https://www.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/remove-xpad-and-use-xboxdrv-instead-to-stop-controller-light-flashing-constantly/

When you edit rc.local make sure you specify a wired pad with -id

I’ve tried over the last weeks, but either ended up with the controller not running or still blinking or the pi freezing. No big deal though – at least better than 3 red leds :O

Finally i’ve got it to work. Dunno where i went wrong exactly, guess i didn’t chmod the directory and never noticed…
