    Max when you go to the system info in xbmc does it show your overclock worked?

    I entered this into the config.txt at boot menu

    arm_freq=950
    core_freq=450
    sdram_freq=450
    over_voltage=6

    But my system info still says 700mhz?

    What about you?

    Nice work max, can adjust overscan there as well.

    Hmmm strange. My overclock works(well it didn’t give me an error anyway). But ya from the same menu I can’t change the overscan or whatever its called or the mem split(which I know you can set from berry boot). So ya that setting file must be else where, not sure where.

    Have you put roms in the the emulators roms folder you want to use?

    when you first boot that’s all that shows until you put roms on it.

    So I get to the install xbmc part and get this

    Reading package lists… Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information… Done
    Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
    requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
    distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
    or been moved out of Incoming.
    The following information may help to resolve the situation:

    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    xbmc : Depends: xbmc-bin (>= 2:11.0~git20120510.82388d5-1) but it is not installable
    Depends: xbmc-bin (< 2:11.0~git20120510.82388d5-1.1~) but it is not installable
    Recommends: python-qt3 but it is not going to be installed

    any thoughts?

    Nope no luck with that try…

    Ya go to /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh and go to setup/register retroarch and go through the setup then both your snes controllers should work on all, they do for me anyway.

    Yup just like when I exit out.

    Do they work for you? what’s your retroarch.cfg file look like?

    Okay so this didn’t work /home/pi/RetroPie/emulators/RetroArch/configs/USBGamepad.cfg
    but this did
    /opt/retropie/emulators/RetroArch/configs/USBGamepad.cfg

    and inside it is.

    input_device = “USB Gamepad ”
    input_driver = “udev”
    input_b_btn = “2”
    input_y_btn = “3”
    input_select_btn = “9”
    input_start_btn = “8”
    input_up_axis = “-1”
    input_down_axis = “+1”
    input_left_axis = “-0”
    input_right_axis = “+0”
    input_a_btn = “1”
    input_x_btn = “0”
    input_l_btn = “4”
    input_r_btn = “5”

    Added this at the bottom like you said.

    input_save_state_btn = “5”
    input_load_state_btn = “4”

    but nothing. Does something come up on the screen when save state is successful?

    Hey ya that is my current setup. After I did that register through that menu both controllers work. Only the first controller can exit the game but I’m cool with that.

    I went to menu in /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh and registered retroarch controller and they both work inside all the emulators. Then when I added the exit emulation hotkeys stuff that started working so I’m not sure why the last code doesn’t work. Where else should I be looking?

    Thanx for the help!

    I finally solved it after a lot of headaches. I used a windows program called minitool partition to shrink the main partition like from 7.4 to 7.2 and then it wrote to the card. Every other answer I read said you had to do it in linux but this program does the trick.

    Thanx for the response though pillbug
