    retroarch.cfg can be found in

    opt/retropie/configs/all

    what do you use to enter your pi?

    i use winscp and cyberduck….
    i log into the pi with root permissions.

    when you put your sdcard into a windows pc you are only able to change the boot.cfg and some other files and yes indeed the /opt/retropie/configs/all/ does not show up. Use “winscp” or “cyberduck” to log into your pi and change any .cfg files…

    Did you put the BIOS files in the same folder as your roms are? it sounds like a bios problem to me. search the net and be sure you have the right bios files set in the same folder as your roms.

    Same happend to me with Mame4all-pi, i did not have permission to save the config to opt/retropie…… etc etc.
    What i found was to do this in terminal: sudo chmod 777 (the map you need permission for) then go back mame4all-pi and you can map your buttons and save the config.
    The same thing works with retroarch.
    you will need root acces to cfg the most emulators.

    For android there is a nice Frontend in the google playstore. It is called “GAMESOME”. Very easy to use! even with retroarch. And it comes with his own scrapper for the roms. For Raspberry pi there is only one number one and thats retropie :)

    only thing new in v.0.1.1 beta is the general-art map…. i dont find any new theme folders? is that correct?

    i tested genesis,snes and apps. all the themes work. only needed to edit the es-systems.cfg because i had a different ranking in my emulator list.

    Tested with V.0.1.0 beta.

    why not all emulated consoles/mame that are supported by retropie? i also use mame, neo-geo, turbografx, gb/gbc,gba, sega-master on my bartop setup. wish this works tomorrow… Looks great!!!

    This is probably the best theme ever for emulationstation….!!! will try it tomorrow…. I under stand this is the first beta but will other consoles also be part of the theme? that would be very very nice….
