I’m about to install 3.5 on a new sdcard, but there are a few commits that happened after this was released that would be great to have. Specifically the update to the lr-mame2003 core described at https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/commit/3dd08e38fe569b46599449a22a8073362bd60639

Is there any way to get this change into the 3.5 image (or add it to a device already running 3.5) or do I have to wait until 3.6 is released?

I think you can simply install lr-mame2003 from source and it will pick up any recent commits.

or even just updating retropie-setup and re-installing from binary (as I updated the binary a day or two ago)

@buzz: Would you mind providing a mini-tutorial on the best way to do that? Even though I’ve learned a lot in the past month since I’ve got my pi I’m still a semi-noob with some stuff.
