ultimarc ipac2 "controller not configured"

I have a big problem. I cannot configure my ipac2 controller in retropie3.5
It works fine in the main menu and in MAME. But I cannot configure the buttons in fba or neogeo. I edited the config files and I also tried different joypad drivers – nothing seems to work.

Someone please help me……

Same boat. I’ve read all kinds of articles and watch a few YouTube channels but nothing seems to fix it.

EDIT: Check this out. I’m going to dive into it when I get home see if it works.
