    Hi All

I bought a raspi Pi back in May 2012. I’m pretty sure its a 256MB model. Just wondering how this model performs with retropie compared to the 512MB model?

    Thanks

There’s no performance difference as long as you set the video ram to a maximum of 128mb, even then the only emulator that really needs that much is the Playstation one. 96mb should be fine for everything else.

    Thanks Trimmtrabb.

Vram split set to 128mb and PSX games working fine (only tried resident evil 2 thus far!)

Yeah quite a few will run at a playable speed, there’s a frame skip option in the GUI which helps. Overclocking will help too.
