Just wanted to check in on progress for future updates.
Great theme here, using it currently and it works perfectly for me so far.
I wonder where you found these background images, because I want to find some missing me like 3DO and Atari Jaguar for example. Or if by chance is you who creates them could give me a hint on how to create made?
I thank you.
I made the backgrounds. There are several steps to make the background. If the controller is not a traced controller then there are 10 steps I take to make it. It involves converting from image to a vector back to an image and back to a vector to get the style I am looking for.The ones you listed are in the to do list.

I still plan on getting the rest done but this past month has been far too busy. I got so much done in a short time before since I had more than my usual free time.
I see maybe a couple more weeks until I can get to a point of releasing more consoles.
Alternate download site? Please!

What site would you prefer?Prefer a torrent.
If not that, something like File Dropper, or TinyUpload.
Thanks if you do any of this.
It can be installed from the setup script as well- I fixed the issues that were causing it not to work. you just need to update your setup script first.
Any idea why I’ve updated all my scripts and re-installed this and it still fails to work….Gutted….Really like the look of this one. Emulationstation quits and has some error up that i’ve not actually got to hand then reboots without the theme. Is this a known issues or am i just being a nubbin?
I’ll look into it again this evening. It’s possible I missed something.

http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=90706214676210823478Thanks Sekazi-
It’s working from the setup script now- I apologise to anyone it inconvenienced.
So here’s the deal Sekazi- your theme is just so awesome it doesnt fit in the same group as the others- so I’ve adjusted the paths just for your basic version of your theme in order for it to fit the install template as the other themes in the script: for now if people want the more complete theme with your fancy gamelists and whatnot they’ll still need to get it from this forum post.
Once you’ve finished the theme to your liking in all its completed glory we can look into tweaking the code a bit to cater to your themes awesomeness with the default paths you’ve set it up with.
Hopefully that is acceptable to you.
so….I’ve deleted my original nbba theme folder…Re-installed it from the retro-pie set-up menu re-started and boom….It worked….Had very few skins for a lot of the emulators though…So i then used the download link from a couple of posts up and uploaded those files (emulator folders from the nnba theme…Not any of the other folders in the download) to the nbba theme folder using filezilla. got this error as usual…(see attached image)
What and where am i going wrong? Im not a huge noob, but a reasonably sized one.
From the few set up skins ive seen it looks bloody lovely and should be award 10 points and a gold star.

I have usually seen that error if you do not have enough video memory available. Try increasing it and see if it works then.
Because the paths of the setup script and the theme from the forum here are different, you have to use one or the other- you can’t use both.
Sorted it. Mr Herbfargus award yourself 10 points….That was it…I realised last night that it was something simple. Anyways Great stuff…Quite a few systems weren’t there but that was easily solved after an hour with Adobe. Big thanks to the original grand master of this theme Sekazi, thanks for taking the time to share your work and i can’t wait to see if you skin every system as my improvised art is not up to your standards. Thanks again all.
Thanks for the tinyupload link.
The themes look really great!
I’d like to ask you to also place the alternate logo svg files on tinyupload, if you don’t mind.
If you are looking for what systems to theme next: Videopac (Odyssey 2 prefered name), and/or Zmachine
Outstanding theme mate, its definitely my default theme now.
Any chance on making a Kodi entry in the theme’s pattern?Another request: NGP (NeoGeo Pocket)
Thank you!
So this is one of my favorite themes but I have a question about color contrast, especially with NES which I use the most. The red background with the light text is hard to read at times. Is it possible to change the background to a black background and keep the text the same?
Also, is it possible to change the font type? Just curious. Thanks for your hard work!
EDIT: I went through the theme.xml files and changed the background information for how I wanted it, so I figured that out. And I also replaced the font TTF files with different font. Kinda made a mashup between Carbon and NBBA.
There was also a font scaling issue with the gamelist textlist so I changed the size and pos to this in the theme.xml:
<pos>0.51 0.12</pos>
<size>0.44 0.79</size>I have the one downloaded through the setup script and run at 1080p, FYI. some thoughts:
– I think I agree with @tmar89 about the font and colours – I get some slight aliasing on across all the fonts used, apart from the ‘XX GAMES AVAILABLE’ message
– The console release date info scrolls off the right edge of the screen for me. I’m fairly sure I’ve got my overscan set up correctly, as I did that all a while ago to get it pixel perfect. maybe someone else can confirm?
– I really think the game lists would look better if they were left aligned. It’s easier to tell the related games/sequels, when they’re all aligned that way, when you’re scrolling through lists.sorry if this sounds like i’m moaning – the theme is really slick regardless! :)

I did forget to mention I also changed that. I agree with you that it is easier to go through a left aligned list of titles than centered. This is great, will you be adding the Amiga and zxspectrum?
awesome theme! First one I’ve downloaded for my ES. Thanks!
Is a manual download best or the auto download one from the menu?
You can install it from the setup script if the link is broken.
Hopefully this is still being updated as it’s great, please add the Amiga to you list if possible.
I use the Amiga emulator so when this theme loads it does look good as the Amiga isn’t supported, can I copy the Amiga logo from another theme or make the theme start on another supported emulator at start-up ?
man, i just did the Atari Jaguar BG, if you want I can send to you. It’s not awesome like yours, but it looks like yours
Thanks luizpietro. I actually finished up the Jaguar yesterday.
Sorry for all of the missed times I said prior. I can definitely say I will have something released this weekend.
Here are the new and changed ones I have completed.

http://i.imgur.com/lFiAOTo.jpgFor the few other suggested ones that have full on keyboards for the controllers I will be adding incomplete themes. They will be missing the menu background with the keyboard so instead it will have a background like the lists. Those systems are
Amiga
zxspectrum
ZmachineThere are a few other touch ups I need to also do but nothing major. I also need to test on my Raspberry Pi.
How does Kodi work on the Raspberry Pi? It was requested but I am not sure how it launches or where the files actually need to go.
I’ll update the github repo once you release as well. Kodi is treated just like any other system (granted it needs to be installed manually to be used but there are scripts to do that on the wiki)
Thanks. So I will keep Kodi in a folder called kodi then.
Here is a small preview of some redone logos. The Atari 2600, 5200, 7800 and the PlayStation. The PSX logo also stuck out like a sore thumb to me which is why I changed it. I debated on changing the whole symbol but opted for changing just the P.

http://i.imgur.com/xi8LsHT.jpgThe SUPERSYSTEM part of the 5200 logo was hard to find a clear picture of to find out what the font was. I think I got it pretty close.
Right now I am trying to rework some of the complaints about the light on light colors. I never had an issue with it on my screens but I can see how it could be a problem.
I like to get thoughts on the gamelist selection. I made the list the lightest color. I made the selection black with the lightest color as the selector bar. Below is a video showing them. I also left aligned the detailed gamelist.
EDIT:
Famicom
Looks like I cannot make changes to the first post anymore.
Here is a download of the latest release v1.2.
https://mega.nz/#!KVwwjLCb!NaPmtZxLa2ZAHFaCkJexbBYoL03gO4LXPrbfjUMj4rsWhen testing on my Raspberry Pi I was getting a white screen until I reduced to number of shown themes. I do not know how many can be loaded at once without getting it as the gamelists also play a part in the white screen. I am currently unsure how I can reduce the impact on the Raspberry Pi right now. I cannot use a stock SVG for some items as they color option does not work with them.
I still need to pack the high resolution and alternate logos in zips but this is the main theme.
It says it needs a decryption key to download
