Hi, I am overclocked to 1000Mhz in order to reliably run games like Super Mario World (SNES). Everything runs smoothly in all emulators, except mame4all, where the gameplay is sped up by about 4x. Is there any way to regulate mame4all to 100% please?

Update: Pressing F8/F9 cycles “Frame Skip” in MAME. Landing it on 0 (not “auto”) sort of helps, although there is still speed up/down jitter, but it’s usable now.

Which emulator are you using? The retroarch core or the standalone one?
I didn’t have any problems with running too fast in the standalone one (mame4all-rpi).

mame4all-rpi, which I believe is the standalone one.

Are you overclocked like me? Well not you, but your Pi? ;)

Also see my update above :)

Strange, if anything mame4all-pi will struggle a bit with certain roms. Overclocking shouldn’t speed up MAME like that either (i’m at 1000mhz too)

    Which roms are causing problems?

Thanks. I’m trying with Star Wars. That’s the only game I wanted it for anyway ;-)

If this post helped you, feel free to click “Thanks”… Thanks! :p
