I’m curious if anyone has tried setting up a Retropie with an LCD touch screen like the one here.

I was going through a bin full of old electronics, half built kits, and spare parts the other day when I came across a broken Game Gear that I had forgotten about. It looks like it might be the perfect size to house a raspberry pi. It’d be a sweet bonus if I could navigate emulationstation via a touch screen inside that old game gear. Has anyone here tried something like that yet?

Almost everything in RetroPie is designed to be joystick / dpad driven. For a touch screen to work the app would need to be mouse driven. I haven’t tested it personally, but I’m gonna say no, ES won’t work with a touch screen :)

Thanks! It was wishful thinking I guess.
