Edit main screen?

Hi guys brand new the Raspberry Pi/Linux and RetroPie, it’s been a steep learing curve but through searching a lot of posts here and YouTube vids from Floob I’ve got most sorted. Thanks to everyone for that.

Have a question on the main screen I believe is Emulation Stataion? It has a white semi transparent bar running through the center with the emulator choices. Is there any way to make that bar fully transparent so it blends with the background?

Thanks for any info or advice on where to start or if that is possible.

You are correct, that main screen with the white bar / carrousel is EmulationStation.
Alas, it is currently not possible to change the color, location or opacity of this.
