Does anyone know how how to install retropie on noobs?
I’ve compress the img file into tar.xz but still can not install, my screen was “extracting the filesystems” during the install process and stuck there
whether there are files that have the retropie.tar.xz and boot.tar.gz?

    terima kasih

I’ve been following this way but when the installation stage, I had to choose based or source-based binaries?
I’ve tried to source-based but had not yet completed 6 hours to install it

    terima kasih

If you select all and everything source based installation can take up to one day ;-)

the binary based installation may not give the most up to date builds.

have you had a look at the ultraslim image, might save you a lot of time if it has what you need: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=59590

Mame and FBA emulators take the most time. If these emulators are not selected, compilation time is significantly shorter.

I have created a NOOBS compatible image :)

This way I can dual boot between NOOBS and OpenELEC

I also made the NOOBS image use the proper RetroPie logo and description.

    Very nice :)
