I just updated to 3.5. The update did not create an “arcade” directory. I thought I could fix this by creating an arcade directory at ~/RetroPie/roms/arcade. I then moved my roms into that folder and manually pointed fba, neogeo, and various flavours of mame to that directory in es_systems.cfg. I then rebooted into emulationstation.
Instead of seeing a nice “arcade” option in my systems, I saw three Mame icons, FBA, and NeoGeo.
What am I doing wrong?
