After getting retropie up and running for the first time with some ROMS on there I played super mario bros. 3, had a great time, then it was time for contra. Using the same NES-style controller I had used before with mario, I booted up Contra and got right in the action. The only problem: it wouldn’t allow me to shoot, hmmm.
Went through all the tutorials and guides I could find but to no avail. I even managed to screw it up so badly that none of the controls work anymore.
With a keyboard everything works fine (after finding out which keys do what), but jumping -x- and the arrow keys don’t like to be pushed at the same time and it’s just not the experience I’m looking for. Help?
