xbox 360 wireless controller SNES issue

Hi all

I am somewhat new to this and have hit my first speed bump.

I’m running RetroPie 3.0 and everything loads up without issue. I can configure Xbox Wireless Controller and it all works fine in the menu system and on all Emulators except SNES.

Once I am past the games menu none of the buttons then work, meaning I can access each game but cannot move within the game play….

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If on chance this has been an ongoing issue and has been answered before if someone could send the link to that thread I will go there.

This might have something to do with an issue with the SNES emulator which is included in RP3 Final. Just update it using the RP Menu script and you should be fine
