Hello everyone. I just used the retropie setup script on a new rasp pi 2. The problem is that I now can’t get emulation station to launch. I’m totally new to Linux so I don’t even know if everything installed correctly. I’m used to double clicking icons to start programs, I totally suck at this command line stuff.

When I type “emulationstation” into the command prompt, I get the following error: “X is running. Please shut down X in order to mitigate problems with losing keyboard input. For example, logout from LXDE.”

    Huh?

Can someone break this down for me? Just trying to launch emulation station.

    Thanks. :)

edit: nevermind, figured out I just needed to launch es from the command terminal after exiting the desktop.
