Hi I installed RetroPie/EmulationStation when I got my RasPi2 and after some minor tweaking I was up and running.

While there is a Wiki page to add Wiimotes via CWiid, it still seems a little clunky.

I have a SNES classic controller for the Wiimote so this is perfect for SNES games, the Wiimote itself is great for NES and nunchuk + Wiimote is great for FPS games like Quake. Finally the Wiimote is great for a “living room mouse” for SCUMMVM, actual Desktop Environment use and as a remote control for Kodi/XBMC

The main problem I have is that the Wiimote doesn’t exist in the auto-config for retroarch and the option to add it doesn’t detect it after it’s paired.

I currently kill the process and re-pair via different scripts when moving from ES to ScummVM or Kodi but ideally a way to pair once on boot then remember the Wiimote and just switch config would be ideal.
