    Hi Guys,
I swapped to simple-dark via the interface in the latest build of retropie and all was working well, however when i took it to show some people it didn’t work on all the screens in the office.

After emulationstation splash I just had a white screen

I modified .emulationstation\es-config to change the theme line from “simple-dark” to “carbon” and it started working on all screens

My presumption is that there was no background at that resolution in the theme? and it wouldn’t load as a result. (This was on 8 different make and model 22″ widescreen monitors via HDMI-DVI cable.

Is there some way we could get a hot key on boot to revert theme choice to a safe one (hold F8 for example)? Either that or have it detect the issue and revert to safe itself?

Thanks for reading, this is a great piece of kit!
