    Hello there!

    I’m new here, and will hopefully get some help. :)

    I used to run Noobs, but yesterday I installed the RetroPie SD-card.
    Some things I miss from the previous version of RetroPie, and I know I can edit some file to get it the way I want. Don’t know which though.

    I want to use a specific button for saving state and one for loading state.
    Previous, I could just press L1 and R1 on my controller. Now, I have to push Select + L1 and L2. How do I change this? What file do I need to edit?

    Thanks in advance!

    So, I found out what file / files to edit.
    But do I have to use a “hotkey” to be able to save/load state?
    Can’t I just configure to use one button?

    there used to be a “nul” bind that you would put as the value for your hotkey so that you could just press one button to make it work but I haven’t been able to get it to work on the newer versions of RetroPie. you could give it a go though and see if it works for you.

    input_enable_hotkey_btn= “nul”

    Well, that does the trick, thank you.
    But then I have to do some other moddings as well. :)

    My B button on NES games will then reset the ROM.
    And my Start button kills emulationstation.

    Hehe. :)

    Well, I did some other changes in my “file”. :)
    So now, everything works perfectly! Thanks! :)

    Glad it worked out :) Feel free to change the status to resolved in the dropdown menu at the top of the thread.
