I’m putting a few Raspberry Pis into Gameboy shells, and the idea occurred that it might be possible to slap in a tiny vibration motor. I realize the list of vibration-supported games is probably too small to justify this, but Pi-boy builds are about doing things because the can be done, not because they should be done.
My end goal is to have a signal sent by the Pi to an iPhone 4 vibration motor. I know very little about how vibration is programmed, or even if this idea can be executed efficiently. What I don’t want is to have to put an xbox controller into my Gameboy, as this is not an ideal solution.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it possible, or am I thinking to far outside the box.
