I’d like to know if anyone is using their Raspberry Pie for both RetroPie and MP4 video. If so how did you do it?

    Thanks

I forgot to add that I did install OMXPLAYER but the video does not run. I changed the USB stick and had no luck with the file as of yet, it could another odd MAC issue with the codec… but that never happens.

omxplayer handles most stuff I have thrown at it. MP4 is a container though, so it depends on the codec etc.

Is there a specific folder name you out the video in on your USB stick?

If the movie I want to play is called NOOB, do you type in “omxplayer NOOB.mp4” on the command line or something else?

No success has been found yet. I’ll be sure to post back if/when I find the issue.
