    Hi guys,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to use RetroPie IMG SD card in a Banana Pi board?

Unfortunatly I don’t own a Raspberry Pi yet. Instead, I own a Banana that is able to run for example the Raspbian image. I searched quickly on this forum and over the internet and found nothing about running RetroPi on a Banana.

    1) Is there any compatibility isues?

    2) Is it even possible?

    3) Did someone already try?

Here is more informations about this board: http://www.bananapi.org/p/product.html

    Many thanks!

Guarantee there will be compatibility issues cause its a different hardware architecture (allwinner chips are not known for their stability, rather they are known for ripping off GPL licenses)

You can try going through the manual installation:

Thank you VERY MUCH @herbfargus :).

I’ll try the manual install on the Banana board, and by the way I’ve just buy the Pi 2 on the internet to have better community/support/stability.

    Have a nice week-end :+1:
