    Hi there,

I have been trying to get my two xbox controllers to work for 3 days now. My issue is that, only one is working at the same time (at both ports).

I first tried the setup using the xbox script (https://www.petrockblock.com/2013/12/02/retropie-autoconfig-functionality/) which leads to having a XboxGamepad(userspacedriver).cfg and
    xboxdrv --daemon --id 0 --led 2 --deadzone 4000 --silent sleep 1 --trigger-as-button --next-controller --id 1 --led 3 --deadzone 4000 --silent --trigger-as-button --dbus disabled & in /etc/rc.local

My second try was to create the proper configuration manually (https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Setting-up-the-XBox360-controller)

Both ways lead to the same issue that only one controller is recognized. Help would be appreciated :)

    Cheers,
    Biiing

So finally I found out that my controller setting inside the Emulator is working with the autoconfig. My emulationstation was misconfigured. This fixed it:

    cd .emulationstation
    sudo rm es_input.cfg

    Cheers,

    Glad to hear!

Do you think that the RetroPie Setup Script needs to be modified at one or another place to make two Xbox controllers work?

Unfortunately, I only have one Xbox 360 controller so that I could not test this.
