Two arcade joystick in the same sub port

Hi all

My question is simple .

I have bought a arcade set of buttons and two joystick as old arcade machines .

My problem is to configuring it because when retro pie detect it only detect as I only input one pad/joystick not two of them
Because I guess the two joystick are plugged in the same sub port.

Please , can anyone tell me how to fix this problem ? Maybe configuring at retroarch menu?
