Been using RetroPie for a week(love it!) and have tried out some games. Most work fin except Yoshis Island on SNES. The sound more often then not lags and stutters quite a bit and after playing a while I have to restart my tv to get the sound back at all. I have overclocked my pi 1b to turbo and I have tried all the different SNES emulators, but it’s the same. Is the pi to weak to play this game or am I doing something wrong? Does other people have this problem aswell?

Yes, I found it does stutter on Yoshis Island on a Pi 1.
These games tend to have an issue: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_FX

Here is a speed comparison of it:
