Sound problems

iv set the sound for Hdmi but nothing, everything else works fine i get cant get any sound

A recent topic spoke about ASLA Sound issues (https://www.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/retropie-retrosmc-alsa-sound-issues/#post-111253).

I couldn’t turn up the sound. Every time I tried, the sounds settings always came back to 0%. This topic helped me fix the problem, hope it could help you!

iv tired it on a different tv and the the sound works on that tv, which is a few years old now but no sound on my new tv.

If you want some help, i suggest you to give some information about your configuration (Wich Pi ? Are you using Retropie in stand alone ? Wich release ?)

Have you tried to uncomment/add the line hdmi_drive=2 in your config.txt (in /boot/)?
The line dtparam=audio=on ?
