ive located the files that i need to change and put the new one in a different location, but im still having issues.
ive placed the new .png into a rom folder because that seems to be the only place it will actually save.
so i put this in terminal
sudo cp MyNewSplashScrenn.png /etc/splashscreen.pngand it gives me an error, could i get an example of what the entire command looks like with full file path or is this all i need?
What is the exact error message?
cp: cannot stat ‘MyNewSplashScrenn.png’ : no such file or directory. im pretty new to the whole linux thing so im sure i did somthing wrong lol.
so i eventually got it working by installing lxde with “sudo apt-get update” “sudo apt-get install lxde” then running the forced root terminal, and from there i was also able to edit the es_systems.cfg to ad .bin to the psx so now i have ff tactics working.
