I recently bought the Pi2. I backed up all my Rom files first and then wiped the SD card. After that, I imaged the SD card with the new Retropie 2.6 for Pi2. I went through the setup and everything is working.

However, I had a saved game of Donkey Kong Country on SNES. When I look in my SNES roms directory, I see:

Donkey Kong Country (E) (V1.0) [!].smc
Donkey Kong Country (E) (V1.0) [!].srm <– Save File

However, when I open Donkey Kong Country, there is no saved game for me to choose to continue.

What’s the deal? Is it because I was using pisnes for emulation on my Pi B+ and now I’m using whatever the default emulator is for Pi2?

Could you be opening it in another emulator by accident?

    That should be it.
I had the same issue and when I changed the emulator it recognized all my saved games.
