select button not working on zelda link to the past

Hello,
This is my first post on this website so I apologize if any information is missing. I have set up my controller for retropie and it seems to be working on most games. I started playing Zelda link to the past on snes and I noticed that when I hit select to save the same the menu would not appear. I have checked my configurations and they seem to be correct. Has anyone else noticed this issue with Zelda? I’m not sure what games use the select button so I havent been able to check the issue with other games. The controller I am using is a logitech precision. I have also included retroarch.cfg. Please let me know if any more information is required.
