    Has anyone been able to get Phantasy Star 1 to work in a playable state? The music is 4x slower than its supposed to be, and lots of other things lag or freeze.

    Ive tried a bunch of different things and this game is totally unplayable. Has anyone else had issues with this specific game?

    I switched my emulator to the genesis plus gx emulator, and everything works fine now.

    ah, same — just responded to your other post explaining steps I took, maybe will help if other newbs are having same problems
