In RetroPie 3.6, when using a controller D-pad to navigate in the SCUMMVM menu, the cursor is very jumpy. It is the same within games.

It was smooth and not jumpy in previous versions of RetroPie. Has anyone else encountered this or found a solution?

The way controllers work has changed with the switchover to SDL2. I don’t know a way to change this, and I’m not sure if it’s an SDL2 issue or a change in scummvm. However analogue joystick controls seem fine, so it might be by design than dpad works differently and does large jumps. Easiest workaround is to use a mouse or controller with analogue input.
