    I’ve tried getting RetroPie to work properly and while I was working at that I stumbled on Lakka.

    Anyone who’s used and set up both of them and can give some pros and cons of both of them.

    Also, please note if you run a RPi or RPi2.

    My own feelings on it is that with RetroPie you get the configurability and since you’re running a a full OS you can also use the machine for other stuff. With Lakka you get the ease of use.
    Compare Linux to Apple seems like a good likeness here.

    correct me if I’m wrong but, lakka is based on openelec. Therefore it is harder to ssh, become root, install packages because it’s locked down (readonly)
