    Hi,

I’m tipoto, I’m new to RetroPie and I first wanted to thank everyone involved in this beautiful and impressive project.

While I was configuring RetroPie, I sometimes had hard times to know which file I had to edit, I noticed there were a lot of config files in a lot of different places and I think it’s very confusing sometimes.
I was wondering if anyone could explain (schematically) how the whole thing is structured and connected together? I’m talking about just the relationship between ES, Retropie, Retroarch, Librerto, Emulators etc. Who is driving who?

That way it would make more sense to me why we have all these redundant files :)

I have my own idea of the structure and I understand the general config files and the local ones, but for a lot of things it’s still very blurry in my mind and I don’t get the logical.

    Thank you very much!

    Perfect! Thank you very much!
I watched a bunch of your videos already, but I had missed this one :)
I don’t know how I would do without your videos ;)
