The Pi 2 is not powerful enough to emulate the PlayStation 2webheadParticipant02/20/2015 at 18:01Post count: 23
i think it could be if it was coded good what makes you say it cant be done?RooParticipant02/20/2015 at 18:17Post count: 211
Emulating the PS2 at a playable speed would require a high end 3D graphics processor, which the Pi doesn’t have and most likely never will have in a credit card size “System on a Chip” computer platform. Everything “3D” you see on the Pi is being done by the CPU.
Trust me, it’s not going to happen.webheadParticipant02/21/2015 at 02:08Post count: 23

Technically the Rpi is capable of running ps2 and xbox games…but the Rpi is not capable of emulating them..because emulation requires far more resources and power than what is needed to actually run the game in its native console…
2…if it was coded good..then yes…but who is going to do it for free..and also when sony is completely against it?????
