    Hi.
Building a retropie gamestation with a waveshare 7inch LCD that works great. But i would like the ability to connect it to a proper HDTV to. So I thought using a hdmi switch to either switch to the internal LCD or external HDTV. The issue I came across was that the internal lcd is running at 800X480 resolution. And the driver installed for that LCD (https://github.com/derekhe/waveshare-7inch-touchscreen-driver) is probably forcing the hdmi to that resolution (800×480). So the HDTV just reporters “signal not supported” when I connect the Pi to that. Is there a way to add more resolutions and get the pi to auto switch when switching the hdmi to the HDTV?

    Thanks
