I’m having a rather strange problem with the Gamecon GPIO driver when installed through the RetroPie setup script.
Here’s the breakdown;
Installed the system from the RetroPie SD image, setup network, memory split, overclocked to medium, etc. When I first power on I get to the main emulator screen fine, but no controller control, no keyboard, nothing. Alt F4 exits fine, so the keyboard is detected. When I exit I type jstest /dev/inputs/js0 I get a return of no directory.
I enter into the setup script, reinstall gpio, set the controller map (2 PSX) and restart emulationstation, and all is right with the world. Until the next power off, then the process starts all over again. This is a new build so a rebuild isn’t out of the question.
