    For some strange reason muppen64 on RPi2 runs slower when I hook it up to my computer screen with and HDMI to VGA converter. When it’s hooked up to the TV via analogue output it runs very smooth. Is there any particular reason for that?

    force the resolution to be lower on hdmi and you’ll see performance is the same:
