    Hi
I’m slowly getting to know Retropie and all it’s files and folders (Linux noob).
Now have a working system using an Rpi2 and ver 2.5.
SNES games playing fine with a SNES Usb controller…

Anyhoo, can sombody point me in the right direction to get my controller working
with N64 games. Does N64 or even Mupen64 use Retroarch?
Got Mario cart working in Mupen64 but it defaults to keyboard control.
Would like to get my Usb controller to work instead

    Thanks for any pointers

It’s a bit confusing as there are multiple places to configure N64 controls for RetroPie, however I discovered that the correct place is in the N64 directory under /opt/retropie/configs/n64

The configuration for both N64 emulators is here. I use mupen64plus, not the RetroArch version, and the configuration for that is mupen64plus.cfg. There is another file in the same directory, which allows you to map controls based on what pad is recognised by the Pi which needs playing with too. I forgot what it’s called, but I think it’s something like “autoconf.ini”.

    Thanks Jassen….
That’s pointed me in the right direction so will have a rummage in those files.

    Cheers
