    just figured it out:

    change video_aspect_ratio=1.33 to 1.77 in retroarch.cfg

    /home/pi/RetroPie/config/all or /mame…

    You might find that quit a few games run like crap with the retroarch version of mame. The mame4all-pi is much better.

    i cant configure the usb controler with mame4all (non retroarch), can you give me some pointers on that?

    Yeah, make sure your keyboard is connected to the Pi and when a game starts press the tab button. That should bring up a menu and you can configure input for your USB pad.

    Mame4all pi runs games a lot better and keeps them in their original aspect ratio.

    How do i configure es_system to run mame games directly from emulatation? whats the command?
