Laptop screen trouble.

Im new to all of this, set up my Pi not long ago, configured the majority of it and decided i wanted to use a old laptop screen i had lying about..

I brought the recomended controller board, and then when they arrived i plugged it all together, and as you can see in my attatchments, this is the outcome.

The screen is unclear, and wanted to know from any of you what i could possibly do differently to make it clear..
