    Hi,

Can anyone suggest how to convert iso to .bin & .cue?

For example for pxs roms so they will run on RetroPie

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers.

Power Iso will do it no problem.

However recompiling bins from isos may not work correctly if at all depending on your source files. If you can make a source file as bin created directly from the disc it would be your best bet.

http://he.fi/bchunk/ Is another good resource for working with bin, cue, and iso files in Linux. Used it a while back, worth taking a look at

I had this same problem and due to the fact that I don’t use the programs much, I didn’t want to pay for a program. So I decided to try something and it worked for me. Go into your es_systems.cfg file and go down to the PSX section. Under the supported formats (I think that’s what its called) add .iso and .ISO. After that my iso’s worked. Havent tried all my games but the ones I did try worked.

I also had luck on occasion by just renaming the file extension to .bin. No conversion, just renaming.
