I have setup an X-Box 360 controller with the system and it works perfectly. Currently I ssh into the system to shut it down, but I was wondering if there was a way to do a combination of keys or a key-hold to send a shut-down command. I have setup the middle X-Box button to exit the emulator, but maybe I can setup like hold select and start to shut-down the Pi?

Is there a way to bind controller buttons to a specific command, like ‘sudo shutdown -h now’

    Thanks!

There’s a menu in emulationstation that you can bring up by pressing start after exiting the emulator and it has shutdown as an option there.

Hmm, I didn’t know that. I’ll have to check it out.
