    Hello!

I have a simple question. I noticed when I plugged my ethernet into my Raspi 2 that it showed up on my Macbook’s shared network. I have guest access to the BIOS and ROMs folders. For convenience I’ve just been dragging my roms into the appropriate folders. However they dont seem to show up unless I do a restart of the Raspi.

Is this a safe method to install these? Should I stop doing this and just do it over an FTP and connect to the IP?

I’ve added ROMs both ways and both seem to work. I think its really just a matter of personal preference

    Thanks for the reply!

When transferring over a shared network I seem to get some duplicate files with a “._” at the beginning. I think this had to do with it being transferred over from a Mac. Any idea how to prevent this?
